How it works in 4 steps
Create or find a pool
Anyone can post a quiz question, riddle, topic challenge, or test. Set a prize amount, pick a category, choose a max number of entries, and optionally set an expiry window. Or browse open pools and find one that matches your expertise.
Submit your best answer
Enter the pool and type your answer. Submissions are sealed — other players cannot see your answer while the pool is open, so there is no copying. One entry per player per pool.
Creator picks the winner
Once the pool closes (max entries reached or expiry hit), the creator reviews all submissions and picks the best answer. They can optionally score each entry 0–100 before selecting a winner.
Winner gets paid
90% of the prize pool goes directly to the winner. TopicLoot keeps 10% to keep the platform running. No hidden fees, no fine print. Always.

The rules
TopicLoot is built on fairness. These rules apply to every pool on the platform.
One entry per pool
Each player may submit one answer per pool. You cannot edit or retract your submission after it is sent.
Creators cannot enter their own pools
The person who created a pool is blocked from submitting an answer to it. This prevents self-awarding.
Answers are sealed until the pool closes
No player can see another player's answer while the pool is open. Answers are only revealed to the creator (for judging) and to all players after a winner is picked.
Creator selects the winner
The pool creator is the sole judge. They review all submissions and pick the answer they consider best. For subjective pools (topic, test), quality of reasoning matters. For quizzes and riddles, accuracy is the standard.
Pools close automatically
A pool closes when it hits its max entry count or its expiry time, whichever comes first. The creator can then pick a winner at any time after closing.
Trust & safety
Creator accountability
Every creator's pool history is public. Pools created, pools completed, and winner selection rate are all visible on their profile. Bad actors are easy to spot.
Sealed submissions
Answers are cryptographically sealed until the pool closes. No player — including the creator — can read another player's answer while the pool is open.
Dispute resolution
If a creator fails to pick a winner within the grace period, TopicLoot can intervene. Disputed pools are reviewed by the TopicLoot team and resolved within 72 hours.
